1. Introduction

Ainuverse LLC ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates AinuVision, an AI-powered video search platform available at video-search.app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our service, including through the AinuVision API and MCP integrations.

By using AinuVision, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. Authentication credentials are stored securely (bcrypt-hashed passwords or Google OAuth identifiers). We may also collect your name and email via third-party OAuth providers (Google).

User-Generated Content: When you upload videos through AinuVision or the AinuVision API, we collect and process this content to provide our search functionality.

Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with the service, including search queries, API requests, timestamps, and IP addresses for rate limiting, analytics, and security purposes.

Payment Information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment method details. We retain transaction records (amounts, dates, transaction types) for billing and accounting purposes. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.

MCP Integration Data: When you connect via MCP-compatible clients, we receive OAuth tokens and API keys for authentication. We collect only data necessary for the requested tool operations. We do not access or store conversation data between you and your AI assistant.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the AinuVision service
• To process video uploads and enable search functionality
• To authenticate your identity and authorize access to your account
• To process payments and manage your account balance
• To send transactional communications (e.g., welcome emails, billing receipts)
• To monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the service
• To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and security threats
• To respond to your inquiries and support requests

4. Content Restrictions

You may not upload, process, or store content through AinuVision that is:

• Unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit
• Infringing on intellectual property rights of others
• Containing malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• In violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these restrictions.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest and in transit.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Our measures include:

• HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
• Bcrypt hashing for passwords
• Rate limiting on authentication and API endpoints
• API key authentication with per-user limits
• Regular security audits

6. Data Retention

We retain your information only as long as necessary to:

• Provide our services
• Comply with legal requirements
• Resolve disputes

When you delete a video, all associated files and data are permanently removed from our servers immediately.

When you delete your account, all personal data, videos, API keys, and transaction records are permanently deleted. This action is irreversible.

Server logs are retained for 7 days and then deleted. Anonymized aggregate usage statistics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data with the following third-party services only as necessary to operate AinuVision:

• Stripe: For payment processing, governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy
• Amazon Web Services: For infrastructure hosting and data storage
• Google: For OAuth authentication when you use Google Sign-In
• Google Analytics: For aggregate, anonymized traffic analysis

We do not share your video content or search queries with any third party.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data via your Account Settings
• Correct your profile information at any time
• Delete individual videos or your entire account
• Request portability of your data by contacting us
• Withdraw consent by disconnecting MCP integrations or deleting your account

For EU/EEA residents (GDPR): You also have the right to restrict processing, object to processing, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@ainuverse.com.

For California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies strictly necessary for authentication (JWT session tokens). We also use analytics cookies via Google Analytics for aggregate traffic analysis. You can control cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may affect service functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

AinuVision is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of AinuVision after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
